Troy Tirapelle

Head Coach / Director of Wrestling

Coach Tirapelle is in his 15th year of coaching overall, and 13th as the Director of the Buchanan High School Wrestling Program. He received his first coaching experience as the head coach of Central High School in Fresno in 2009 where he spent 2 years.

In his tenure at Buchanan, Coach Tirapelle has led his team to a record 7 straight California State Championships. The 2023-2024 team returns lots of talent, as well as newcomers, as they continue to strive to be the program every other one wants to emulate.

Coach Tirapelle is married to his lovely wife, Casey, of 11 years, and they have 4 children of their own: Jaxon (10), Austyn (8), Kennedy (6) and Tanner (4).
